From LPG and refrigerated freight to containers, bulk products and heavy machinery, Uhlenbergs has the equipment and experience for demanding loads.
Uhlenbergs have been actively involved in the cartage of LPG throughout New Zealand since 1974. UHL organise logistics and distribution for LPG clients, including line haul and local deliveries, scheduling product uplift and delivery, and a call centre facility. Line haul LPG cartage is our specialty.
Refrigerated freight is a specialist area of transportation handled by Uhlenbergs. All trailers have certified refrigeration units, so temperature-sensitive products are delivered in accordance with customers’ requirements. We are also a New Zealand Food Safety Authority registered transporter.
Our modern container fleet shifts 20 and 40-foot shipping containers for local and line haul deliveries. Side lifters in North and South Taranaki complement standard semi and B-train skeletal trailers. Generators support refrigerated products and permits allow heavy box movements.
UHL carries bulk products predominantly throughout Taranaki for rural and construction sectors. Equipment includes bulk tipper truck and trailers, tipulators, and bottom dump units. Metal, rock, fertiliser, palm kernel and most other bulk products are handled, with fertiliser airstrip cartage, roading and farm tracks a specialty.
Earthmoving equipment and oversize loads are moved using specialist equipment, including our three rows of eight widening transporters. We also have a pilot vehicle operated by certified pilots and Bridge Engineering Self Supervision certified drivers.
Flat decks, low loaders and other general equipment operated by UHL ensure we can satisfy clients’ needs when unusual cartage is required.
Earthmoving equipment supporting our bulk trucks includes loaders and graders. We can also organise excavators to suit clients’ demands.
