LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS (LPG)
Uhlenbergs have been actively involved in the cartage of LPG throughout NZ since 1974, UHL organise all logistics and distribution for LPG clients in areas including both line haul and local deliveries, as well as managing associated logistics such as scheduling the uplift and delivery of product to customer sites, we also offer a call centre facility for these clients. Line haul LPG cartage is our specialty.
REFRIGERATED
Refrigerated freight is a specialist area of transportation handled by Uhlenbergs. All trailers are equipped with certified refrigeration units meaning temperature sensitive products are delivered in accordance with customers requirements. We are also a NZ Food Safety Authority registered transporter.
CONTAINERS
The container fleet at Uhlenberg’s operates using modern equipment to shift shipping containers, both 20 and 40 foot, for local or line haul deliveries.
Uhlenberg’s operate side lifters in both North and South Taranaki, complementing our skeletal trailers which are both standard semi and B train configurations, ensuring we maximise efficiencies for our clients.
Our container fleet operate generators for refrigerated products, as well as permits allowing heavy box movements.
BULK
Bulk products are carried by UHL, predominantly throughout the Taranaki area for rural and construction sectors. Equipment available includes bulk tipper truck and trailers, tipulators, and bottom dump units. Products carried include, metal, Rocks, fertilizer, palm kernel, and almost any other bulk products. UHL also supply metal, rock, lime fines, shell rock and other products as required. Fertiliser air strip cartage, roading and farm tracks are our specialty.
TRANSPORTER
Earthmoving equipment and oversize loads are moved using specialist equipment such as our three rows of eight, widening transporters. We also have a pilot vehicle operated by certified pilots, as well as Bridge Engineering Self Supervision certified drivers.
GENERAL
Flat decks, low loaders and other general equipment operated by UHL ensures that we can satisfy clients needs when unusual cartage is required.
EARTHWORKS
Earthmoving equipment supporting our bulk trucks includes, Loaders and graders, we can also organize excavators to suit clients demands.
