Uhlenbergs recently took delivery of a new Western Star 8X4 tractor unit. This purchase is the first Western Star into the predominantly Peterbilt and Kenworth (Pacaar) equipped fleet and also marks the first Cummins engine into UHL since 1985.
Drivers are rating the truck in high regard so far, with ride quality, comfort, engine power and retardation, as strong points.
The unit is currently on the Manawatu to Waitara run - towing refrigerated quads laden with export beef or lamb products. The new addition is seen here, loading alongside one of the K104 Kenworths.
